First and foremost you must have bento making supplies! If you are in Japan then this is a peice of cake! Any 100 Yen Store is going to have a variety of supplies and many other stores such as Jusco and San-A will have Bento supplies as well! If you are not here in Japan then I would suggest EBAY as a great resource for Bento boxes and supplies!
The must haves are Bento Boxes, Rice Molds,Silicone cups & molds,tiny skewers and small containers that fit inside the Bento boxes to seperate your foods with!
