Simple But Oishi!

This morning I just went for simplicity! For my daughter shrimp tempura, green beans, mac&cheese, corn and steamed rice with flower shaped nori!

My son had steamed rice with pokemon nori, mac&cheese, green beans and shrimp tempura!

I used sushi grass in both bentos and cute little three pronged picks for the veges and mac&cheese!

Dango, Taiyaki & Pokemon Furikake!

Today was an assortment of Japan favorites! I found the most ADORABLE furikake yesterday while doing some shopping that has tiny pokemon in it! TOO CUTE! Also while there I bought some dango and taiyaki with custard filling. The kids love this stuff! For some protein I added flaked tuna and I also added a little Moomin cracker as a gap filler at the bottom of the dango.
